scanner profile to working space conversion

  • Subject: scanner profile to working space conversion

I just want to make sure this is the correct way to convert from scanner
profile to working space in PS CS
Relative Color Metric, Black point and Dither both checked. Is this correct?
I also read somewhere that on the PC version of PS CS, which I run there is
a problem with the adobe ace engine and to use the Microsoft engine instead.

Has anyone heard of this?
