my screen grabs opened in PS - look exactly the same as how Safari
display the images.....
I did a screen grab that opens tagged with the monitor profile and I
dragged off the gif files that are not tagged
everything looks identical on my Apple cinema display, powerbook LCD
and a CRT - all CM.
I'm on osx.2.8 and safari 1.02 beta...
since I'm a photographer who is constantly battling how my clients see
my images posted on the web - this is of particular interest to me - so
far I feel Safari has been the best at showing images tagged with sRGB.
I cannot repeat your faded experience with safari....
would like to know more - since I'm wondering what my clients see -
( except for the fact that most of them do not color manage their
displays )
is your eizo THAT much better that my displays dont show a difference
... ?
BTW all the numbers are only slightly different in PS

I have my Photoshop default RGB space set on sRGB. Well, if you have a
color
managed monitor like me, you should see what I mean when I say it
breaks my
heart to see how faded colors we live in Safari world... Almost makes
me
want to use Photoshop as my Internet browser.
