The Kodak Check-Up Kit comprises of a set of digital test images and
reference prints. The reference prints are produced under controlled color
managed conditions with the objective of a Photo Lab being able to reproduce
an exact match if they are correctly colour managed. I used the kit at a Lab
with 3 different photographic output devices - in addition to verifying all
there devices matched they were amazed to be able to confirm they matched
back to an independent device calibrated and profiled by Kodak.
One of the 7 prints includes some step wedges and a useful comparison of
printing skin tones in colour and greyscale.
