Hi Roger,
To be exact...Bill used Dainippon Screen's software RIP with SPEKTA
hybrid AM/FM screening.
Toyo TK Hy-Unity Soy inks.
The densities shown in one picture show:
C = 2.03
M = 1.85
Y = 1.56
K = 2.24
They do not state the status of the filters.
I think that Staccato 10 micron screening could do an even better job
for this type of printing. Under a loupe the screen of the hybrid
screen is very visible. With Staccato 10 you can hardly see the screen
under a loupe.

I have the book.
There are printers in North America that are doing high density stochastic
printing. Both Hemlock printers and Metropolitan Press here in Vancouver are
doing this type of printing.

So, in a nutshell, Bill's system it stochastic screen printing? I'll take a
look at the link. Or is there more to it?
