I tried profiling a Canon W6220 today. I had the surprise of my life that
the printer driver was only RGB? Canon was talking about a 'PostScript' RIP.
It turned out there was aboslutely no way to disable color management in the
driver itself, even though the driver said it did.
Bottom line, it was impossible to get any decent color out of this printer.
Until this printer is supported by third party RIP like Cyclone or BEST
ColorProof, I don't see that printer go anywhere near print or photo
professionals.
