There's nothing to adjust on an LCD other than the backlight. All other
adjustments have to happen on the video card LUT. Since the native white
point of most LCDs is pretty close to 6500K, it's better to allow the
adjustments to happen with the display profile and Photoshop's Display Using
Monitor Compensation which happens in high bit then do this on an 8 bit
system at the video level. With a CRT, you CAN physically adjust the display
if you have control over the RGB guns. Not so with LCDs.
