I'd take the results of the 2004 IPA Color Proofing RoundUP with a large grain of salt. There were a number of flaws in the evaluation procedure, not the least of which was using four different instruments (none being the same as the one used for the original measurements, and different as in, different manufacturers and models) used to do the evaluation. Having seen how (say) a Spectrolino differs from a DTP41, this is not the way to determine margins smaller than 2 Delta E.
