I just typed a long email and lost it, so this one will be briefer. I'm
reading a years worth of past color sync archives of this list to glean
information and tips as I attempt to implement color management. I'm also
reading the second edition of RWCM after never having finished the first
one, except this time I am understanding what I am reading. My question
regards room lighting and the best way to retrofit flourescents with D50
lighting in the prepress and press area. I've come across in my reading an
exchange about regarding different manufacturers and types of these bulbs,
some requiring ballast changeouts, some not, etc. and I wanted to get the
newest and freshest information on this, as well as sources, etc.
Fair warning: I will be coming to the list with questions soon on color
management, however, I'm learning what I can from the book(s) and archives
so hopefully they will be informed questions, not dumb ones. (No promises
thought. ;-) )
