Thanks for all you help on this issue
I have come to a few conclusions one to stop trying to to view files across
to two different monitors and develop confidence in system independently.
I am going to concentrate on the Apple ADC 30 inch
I have calibrated to 5000K 1.8 gamma and 140 cd/m2
Also to
Native white point Target achieved 6400K 1.8g and 140 cd/m2
Both results seem good with the test I have done but I prefer the native
white point Settings.
GretagMacbeth Support suggest very important - a target Luminance value,
e.g. 140 cd/m2 and a gamma of 1.8
Many people on the list have suggested a gamma of 2.2
I am going to try this, but would you keep the Luminance value 140 cd/m2 .
When calibrating to 2.2 gamma
Also should I calibrate to the native White Point or to 6500K. When
calibrating to the native white point I get a target achieved 6400K with the
GretagMacbeth i1Match 3 system.
I have had conflicting information saying that the native white point would
be better setting for the monitor. As the two seem so close which would be
the better to use. Or am I miss understanding target achieved 6400K in the
icc profile
Thank you again for you support
Graeme
