I would like to know from anyone about ScanVec's PhotoPrint, color
management, and the render of photographic images. Is it good?

StudioPrint
Pros: enduser can generate first-rate custom profiles; linearize the
printer; drive Epsons in native CMYK; latest version has complete
profiling
solution built-in (minus a spectrphotometer); stellar tech support;
very
responsive to their customer feedback in adding requested features
Cons: missing some minor production-oriented layout features that IP
has
(some of these have been addressed in v11 I understand)
Have you ever compared color conversions made in StudioPrint through
designated Input and Output profiles to those you could make in
Photoshop?
Except for the fact that you don't have access to Black Point
Compensation
(I don't think that feature exist, yet, in StudioPrint), can you say
that
both engines convert colors the same?
