Is anyone familiar with the Xerox Phaser 7700 and PhaserMatch software.  I am currently running PhaserMatch ICC 7700 v1.2.  I know that there is later versions of the software which run about 800 bucks.  My question:  My version of PhaserMatch is cumbersome to use and results are not consistent to say the least.  Is it worth the pricey 800 dollars to upgrade and are the results off the Phaser 7700 all that much more consistent.  Any suggestions or direction toward a different laser printer with adjustable color calibrating would help.

Thanks in advance,

Mark,

As a rule of thumb, all laser printers colors drift over the course of time, say day to day. It is the nature of the beast.
However, I have had two clients with the 7700 and they were not too picky about the color shifts and it worked for them.
One  client is a newspaper and the other is a print for pay shop .

If there is   a money back guarantee go for it, but if not then I don’t think that the $800 would be worth it.
