Actually, it does NOT do scanners, except as a pricy add-on. Otherwise, v.3 is great for monitors and the ambient light feature is most "illuminating" (sorry, could not resist).


Weird, no? Used to be, every lowly package did scanners, Unless you're ultra-critical, something like VueScan might be the answer for the scanner (the pro version creates profiles) -- real cheap, and it will also run that scanner long after the manufacturer stops updating its driver...

Personally, I don't find scanner profiling all that important, in my own work.
