Time For New Monitor On A Budget

My NEC FP955 is three years old and I think it is time to replace it. The main problem with it seems to be that grays that should look neutral (Info Palette says all three colors are equal) are not and appear green or red or blue. I can't afford the Barco, Artisan or Mitsubishi 2070SB. Are there any options that would at least get me closer to neutral nirvanna that are not so expensive? Thanks.
