Jim,
if so, it is not for me...
I've been tryying theyr DE version, for Mac, even the last , 4.0,
without good results, mainly in terms of image rendition....
I can't get rid of the little artifacs in proofs...
I was thinking that the mac version would be full featured, since MAC
OS X is very mature to support a RIP like XF, or Apogee...

I would recommend an evaluation of the new EFI ColorProof XF, beyond

Very modular, like the Apogee, from Agfa...
Ayone seem this product in some recent show?

Gariba,
I took some time this week to see the EFI ColorProof XF. The UI is
basically
an OSX version of the Best ColorProof rip.
However, it is my understanding (and I did ask twice) that ColorProof
XF
that at first glance seems to run on the Mac. However, it is really
a Mac
client with calibration options such as the lin, ink limiting and
profile
features. Meaning you still need a windows box to run the server so
you can
print from the Mac through the server to an inkjet.
It seems like the long way around to get the calibration stuff on a
Mac.
