I have the chance to buy a Barco monitor, it is huge. The screen is
large but there is a two inch or so blank frame around each side of
images I displayed on it. In other words, if its a 21" it shows a
17"/19" image.
Perhaps I missed something in the instruction manual, but I don't know
how to manage the outer displayed dimension of the image onscreen.
The Barco was plugged into my PowerBook G4 and I tried adjusting
resolution under the display preferences in Mac OS X. No luck.
The image on the Barco was spectacularly neutral in the gray, it made
my PowerBook LCD look a popsicle ad. Being a CRT, the contrast of
course was a little less.
After emailing Barco some days ago, there still has been no response.
Are they still in business?
