Hi,
Not sure of V2 profiles but in case of case of V4 profiles you have 4 bytes to specify the length of string in the Unicode format.
Pls let me know if you need something more, I can send you more details on the profile description tag.

Can anyone tell me the maximum length of the internal name of an ICC Profile?
Better yet (if it specifies the maximum length of the internal name),
could anyone point me to a detailed description of the format of ICC
profiles (version 3 _and_ 4)?
I did an hour's Google searching, but found (surprisingly) nothing
relevant. (Perhaps a comment on my Googling ability, but...)
