Actually on Don's website he says the instrument used is the Barbieri
Spectro 100xy spectrophotometer, which has these specs:
smallest measuring step: 0,1 mm
Measuring apertures: reflection: 3 mm, transmission: 0,5 mm or 3 mm
Even with a .5mm aperture, this still seems difficult for such a small
target. I would also assume that a larger format is measured being that
the Fuji and Ektachrome family use the same dye sets. But in the case of
the Kodakchrome target, they only offer the 35mm, so if they're
measuring a larger format, why don't they sell that?
