<Maybe i am missed some important .. i know that between users of this
lists if few peoples from Eizo, so maybe you can more clarify purpose of
this setting (hue and saturation of six primary colors).>
The ColorEdge brochure states the purpose of this feature this way:
POST-CALIBRATION
COLOR CORRECTION
Sometimes in the printing process,
achieving satisfactory color matching
with printed material or another target
reference is still difficult even after calibrating
the monitor and using the color
profile. For additional color manipulation,
ColorNavigator allows adjustment of red, green, blue, cyan,
magenta, and yellow. The hue and saturation for all six colors can
be adjusted independently.
In doing so you give up some things:
Black level adjustment does not function
Steps of the gamma adjustment are .2 (instead of .1)
Gamma adjustment does not function manually
And the gamma adjustment ranges from 1.8-2.6 (instead of 1.0-2.6
I've played around with the adjusting the primaries on a CG21 and it
seems really dangerous to me for color critical work.
