Print shop with an ink jet described, by the shop tech guy, as a 12
color
Roland gave me this profile. Photoshop can't see it in color settings
working spaces (or anywhere else).
It's supposed to be a destination (CMYK?) profile.
<http://ssmith.com/roland-profiles/>
these profiles are both '6CLR' siz channel profiles with CMYK OG
Hexachrome(tm)-style ink ordering.
Photoshop does not use non RGB / CMYK / gray profiles at this time so
that would be why they are not showing up in its menus.
Our first commercial product called IQ Match, to be released in May,
can proof and export images for any ICC-based profile, including 6, 7,
and 8 channel multi-tone profiles as described above. It also offers
control over common color-related issues with a simple and convenient
user interface. Visit http://www.coloriq.com for more information, or
contact me directly.
Sincerely,
Ken Wagner, COO
Color IQ, Inc.
