This is regarding the posting by Sam Smith on 4/16, and subsequent reply by Steve Upton.

As Steve indicated in his reply, the ICC profiles in question are Hexachrome profiles, which Photoshop cannot read. PANTONE HexImage, the Photoshop plug-in that is part of the PANTONE HexWare 2.5.1 plug-in set, can utilize these profiles in order to convert RGB or L*a*b* images to Hexachrome for six-color printing. PANTONE HexImage further expands the capabilities of Adobe Photoshop to provide selective color correction and soft-proofing for Hexachrome files directly from within Photoshop.
