Perhaps you're right, and overall I'm not unhappy with the performance
of the CG220 from a prepress standpoint. But Eizo's publication, the
CG220 White Paper, and the CG220 ICC profile sample from Eizo's website
seem to me a tad misleading in that regard. If you need a measurement
device that costs more than the already expensive monitor to get the
advertised results, and the software doesn't even support it, well, that
just don't seem right.
But then again, maybe Monaco GamutWorks makes the issue look worse than
it is with the way it displays gamuts. Viewing the gamuts in GMB Profile
Editor, the issue doesn't look quite as profound. Anyone out there with
ColorThink care to try it?
