Hello Colorsync Users,
Since I work for a RIP manufacturer myself, I am constantly looking for what
happens in the market today. I will not try to turn this into a thread for
advertising (mostly lurking around, not much posting). All I will say is
that there's plenty of resources you can check out to get some detailed
information about which RIP's are currently available and what they do.
Every year popular magazines and online resources feature some sort of
buyer's guide or product showcase. FLAAR is an organization that has a lot
of background information. Magazines such as Signs of the Times, Big
Picture, Digital Graphics and Sign Business have a regular overview of the
market. The Apple Guide, VersionTracker and other online directories also
have information available.
The combined knowledge of the Colorsync users could be a good starting point
to get to know those applications that are found in every day praxis.
Everyone knows the big players or the ones with the most marketing material
or tradeshow exposure. Why not share your knowledge and pull together a list
you can all work with?
