The *client* needs to be convinced that it is necessary to pay more for
higher quality output.
I would second that.
But I doubt that working with material from an unknown source
is the basis for high quality. Is a GEM-Metafile the basis for
images I send to you? -you might remember, the good old Atari
They used to benefit from it. It was called *repro* - you might
remember it?
Once there were experts that really worked hard to
do an excellent job. They have been replaced by
programs that do user interfaced push-button services.
They were called colormanagement consulters - you remember?
But can a push button really replace profile fine-tuning? I doubt it.
And most custumers doubt it too!
