I did load an existing CMYK profile I built in ProfileMaker Pro and regenerated it using Max K. Loaded both in color settings/Gray and there’s a tiny difference in the two conversions. I’m suspecting that the dot gain might have been altered slightly based on the black generation settings but as noted, it’s very, very subtle (only visible by subtracting the two Grayscale files from each other).
