The only way it could be of benefit is if you are trapped between the red or
green being over exposed, and the blue not getting enough light.
By adding a blue filter, the exposure time (or aperture) could be increased,
improving the S/N of the blue, without making any noticeable difference to
the S/N of the red and green.
If that's not the situation, and you can't increase the exposure time
or aperture, then a blue filter is likely to make the S/N of the whole
image worse.
