In many of the designer dept. of all sorts of firms they employ colorists. I
had a chance to meet and work with them. Pantone is probably the most widely
use of colorsist's work. But you know all that chic wallpaper everyone wants
this year? That was last years colorists vision. They have already designed
next years colors.
Just as they say fashion has to be ugly in 6 months , colours change for
similar reasons. Whether or not the viewers see the same color and in what
light is not in a colorists program.
Even though I have two Normlichts here I still would prefer a bank of Solux
lights. Just as in photography I feel the closer the light is to a smooth
natural light the better colors you'll see. I use the best flash available
yet nothin is better than daylight. As far as viewing goes tungsten has such
a smooth curve that fluorescent tubes just can't touch.
Now why don't we just use 3200 K 1000w bulbs filtered with 80B?????
