Hi, I'm just trying the demo of BasICColor 3.04 and have switched DDC on for my Mitsubishi CRT and selected maximum for luminance, L* Gamma and D65.

The profile looks good, the software reports a luminance of 111cd/m2. Presumably I'm going to burn out my CRT prematurely if I maintain this level? Should I set the desired luminance back to 85-90cd/m2 as I have done in Profilemaker? Any anvantage in the higher luminance (apart from a brighter viewing environment).
