Title: Print differences after profiling
Hello list,
Before I start from scratch I wondered if anyone could shine any light on a strange
problem I have just encountered.
I profiled an Epson 2000P...ok now stop laughing, using PM4.1.
using G2.2 and Photorealistic gets reasonable grey balance as a starting point with this
model Ive found.
I generated the profile and appiied it via P with Preview from PS CS to an known image.
resulting in a very reasonable print, apart from the metamerism.
I took the profile on site and copied it to a G3 which id just freshly setup.
Outputting the same file from this machine generates a really nasty brown
print.
Ive checked and double checked everything I can think of from print driver, OS version, and
all colour and profile settings on both machines and still no joy.
Looking at the profile under ColorThink shows the profile to be as expected.
I cant achieve the same grey balance on the G3 using the same driver settings so Im leaning towards
It being a problem on the G3.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Pete
