Any advice would be appreciated on profiling an Imacon Flextight 949
using Flexcolor 3.9.3 I am particularly interested in setting the start
point for scanning a Hutchcolor scanner target. I have identified and
turned off the auto shadow and highlight, turned off unsharp masking
(set to -125), I have also set the colorsync input profile to non and
turned off the convert and embed profile function. What I am concerned
about is the absence of being able to set a Dmin and Dmax value. There
are two other options I have not previously experienced with other
scanners - There is an option to set a gamma value (default is 2.2) and
a 'Dot' function that allows a value for highlight and shadow for each
RGB channel from 0 to 255.
Thanks in advance.
