For those with experience with the Eizo CG220, could you
comment on screen uniformity in comparison to other LCDs, particularly the
CG21? I believe I’ve read on the list in the past that the CG21 was more
uniform with a better viewing angle than the CG220, and that certainly seems to
be the case here. For example, if evaluate a profile created using Monaco Optix
w/ i1Pro, comparing known Colorchecker Lab values to measure Lab, dead center
of the screen I get an average delta E of 1.34. The same evaluation taken in
the top left of the screen yields an average delta E of 4.2. Measuring solid
patches, I have gotten up to 5.5 delta E 2000 from the center. I expect
some deviation off center, but this is a bit more than I was expecting.
Also, is there an ideal setting for covering the AdobeRGB
space?
