The EIZO protocol does not at all follow the "standard"
DDC-CI protocol which communicates with the monitor through the graphics card
and the video cable. EIZO´s communication (in ColorNavigator and in basICCoor
display) is through USB with a proprietary protocol (which is well documented
and works flawlessly). So, the graphic card has nothing to do with the ability
to hardware-calibrate the CG210. And there is no need for any registry info. If
your USB cable is plugged in on both sides - the computer and the monitor - and
basICColor display shows "DDC on" (admitting that DDC is the wrong
_expression_ here, but it describes the functionality) then a
hardware-calibration of the monitor must work.

I noticed that with the CG220, BasICColor Display does allow
the use of “automatic digital display controls”, but with i1 Match
3.2, the “automatic monitor calibration” option is grayed out. This
wasn’t the case for the CG21. I wonder if it is with the CG210?
