I've heard of infrared wavelengths playing havoc with digital capture,
but have never heard of EMF impact on it. However, should a
photographer be subjecting his body to high levels of EMF? Have studies
been completed that indicate proximity to this kind of radiation does
not make us sick? That would tend to make the initial query moot, IMHO.
I can see how an EMP would definitely destroy not only your image but
anything electronic nearby, including the camera, but here's hoping you
don't find yourself in the midst of one of those!

I'm looking for opinions and / or comments on what could have severe
negative impact on digital captures made in areas subject to high
electro-magnetic radiation fields.
I have an image made on a Fuji S2 camera system that shows severe
degradation reportedly caused by high ambient electro-magnetic
radiation from nearby TV and microwave transmitters when the shot(s)
was recorded. The "noise" is quite remarkable and I'm wondering what
other systems may be similarly affected given similar circumstances.
