I had a problem with the OpenGL frameworks.
Here's a clip from what I had figured out with Mike Cummings help at Chromix

So if you have a clean install or archive backup try replacing the above.
Don't delete or destroy as you're in root. You can move things under sudo
and keep them if nothing works.
I haven't had any problems since, and it was only with the update from
10.3.4 to 10.3.5.
