R800 and R1800

Has anyone on this list had a chance to test the R800 and R1800 printers?

I am interested in their profiling issues, and gray balance especially. I am only interested in their behavior with the RGB driver.

I am also curious about how the new glossy prints compare to the Canon inkjets of similar size (which I consider excellent, but which use dye inks), especially when it comes to the "bronzing" effects observed with the conventional/"old" Ultrachrome inks on glossy papers. I know the theory behind the new inks -- I'm asking for anecdotal evidence or practical experience. I am also aware that Epson's glossy paper hasn't typically been truly "glossy" (smooth, shiny) in the past.
