Thanks to all, but I think that I have uncovered the problem. I am using an
old version of Kodak's Profile Editor software (Yes, I know it's old, but
that is all I have to use) and do not have the PC version of the update to
2.1.1, only the Mac update (I don't know if the update would be a fix or
not). The monitor profile set in the preferences menu of P.E. is not being
loaded / used in the display of images. I deliberately and drasticly
mis-tuned a profile and loaded it as my system monitor profile. The edit was
plainly evident in Photoshop, but not in P.E.. If anybody would know where
to obtain the update I would appreciate a heads up, as Kodak no longer
supports Profile Editor. Maybe it's time to join the 21st century and get
some new software?! Thanks again for all of the input.
