strip into PM 5, using an eye-one as I have done many times before.
However, it is REFUSING to accept data on strip 6 and I don't know why.
I've looked at it visually, no defects, and colorwise to my eye looks the
same as another target that I have already read successfully. I've even
pulled another sheet, same
problem.>
Do you have your volume turned up? I often jump the gun when measureing
with the i1. Line up the ruler to the strip, put the i1 in place,
press the button and then wait for the tone before measureing (least
thats how it is on a Mac using MeasureTool). Other than that, make sure
youre on a level surface and that the aperture isnt flopping around
when you scan.
I've read many charts just like this. It will read up to strip 6,
and then it rejects the data. I even tried reading a chart I read
the other day. I can't be any more careful and precise than I'm
being. I don't understand what is going on.
