I successfully installed and ran GhostScript on PCs, many times, but I never
needed to do it on OSX let alone OS9. So, I don't know how the Mac
implementation of GS goes. There must be some documentation where you
download it from? Perhaps a GS newsgroup or forum somewhere you can tap
into?
What do you want Ghostscript for?
For Jaguar, you do need ESP Ghostscript to print Postscript files.
You can download it from http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net. For
Panther, you aren't supposed to need it. If you need it for another
purpose, that's another matter.
