Sure. (Although this stuff is hard to type clearly in e-mail, so bear
with me!):
The colorant tags are rXYZ, gXYZ, and bXYZ in the profile. Let C =
chromatic adaptation matrix (tag 'chad', type 'sf32') from the profile.
(XYZ)pcs = C * (XYZ)source (You can see this formula illustrated
better in the Colorsync Utility. Open a v4 profile and select the
'chad' tag.)
So, just invert it to get:
inverse(C) * (XYZ)pcs = (XYZ)source
or more specifically
inverse(C) * [rXYZ gXYZ bXYZ] ' = [ X Y Z ] '
That's it. Now you have the tristimulus values as measured (from which
you can calculate the chromaticities if you like), before adapting to
D50. I think this is what you were asking for. I apologize if I was
mistaken...
