Hello all,
under Win XP i have to set the monitor profile as RGB working space to get the same color appearence in Adobe Photoshop and in Power Point. Now i have to calibrate a digital projector for a Power Point presentation - in medical conferences - in which images must be seen as similar as possible as they were edited in Adobe Photoshop.
Now that all the work is done in this way, my question is: is it enough to set the digital projector ICC profile in the color management advanced settings display properties? Or is there any other possible way? Most of the people, at this kind of conferences, use Win XP but what about if I had to make the same Power Point presentation under Mac OSX through a digital projector? Personally I noticed that when i connected a digital projector to my mac and i set mirror displays i only had the possibility to change the monitor resolution instead of setting two different monitor profiles. Any suggestion, guys?
There is a Windows only plug in or patch if you like for Power Point use of profiles with the beamer on Gretag’s site. I think on MacOsX the PPT display will be your monitor profile hence correct corresponding color to Photoshop’s corrected display via the monitor profile.
