Does anyone know where one sets the default RGB in OS X 10.4?
Replace the Generic RGB profile with the profile you wish by placing
it in
the following location (and then remove the Generic profile):
HD-System-Library-ColorSync-Profile.
You need to be the Admin.
Go back into the CS utility, the new profile will be the system
default.
There is another trick: if you have the old Panther ColorSync Utility
handy,
use it to set your default profiles.
Actually you don't need to necessarily trash the original profile.
I would never trash any Generic profile. There are to many parts
of the OS that realy rely on them.
But if I remember correctly, one of the (Ex) Apple-John's wrote that
the system will create new ones if they get deleted.
