Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the suggestion.
If I remove the Generic RGB profile, then Nikon Capture won't launch (even
if I trash its many pref files). If I leave Generic RGB in there, and
install Adobe RGB also, Nikon Capture does launch but still is sticking with
Generic RGB as its output colour space.
So, there doesn't seem to be any automatic switching to Adobe RGB as the RGB
default simply by inserting it into the right folder, and I don't see any
way to designate it as the default RGB space in Tiger's ColorSync Utility.
Thoughts?
Also, I've also looked at what's offered in AppleScript in 10.4, and it
appears that one can do a query to learn the default profile, but not set it
to something else.
