Greetings, Listers.
Quick intro - I'm the company I.T guy but have been forced to learn what I
can about color management...because no one will spring for a real expert.
Anyway, we use the EDOX RIP for our Canon CLC color printer and I also have
the efi ES-1000 spectrometer for my normal calibrations.
My question to you is:
A new print vendor has supplied us with an icc profile for their big press
and I'm not quite sure where to install this.
Is this for the individual workstations or does this go into the RIP as a
possible Profile to be chosen if and when we use this particular vendor?
As I said, I know networks and hardware but color...sheesh.
Thanks for any tips.
