My left eye sees a touch brighter than my right eye, though the hues are pretty much the same.

How unusual is this difference in brightness perception?

I'd have to think variations are quite common, given the nature of the "technology" (grin).

In my own two orbs, I notice a marked difference of about 10cc red (anyone else remember CC filters?) between left and right; the left sees red where the right - my dominant eye - I trust as the neutral partner. As I've aged the difference has been stable, as has my vision generally.
