Hi, for inkjets linerisation usually occurs in the driver or RIP, not
the device itself. So I wouldn't expect that Epson are calibrating each
2400 in the factory.

I always recommend that people look at all the vendors to see which
device fits their needs. Generalising, I'm personally always a little
surprised when people assume that Epson desktops are somehow technically
way ahead of the others. I wonder if they looked at say the Canon
i9950/iP8500 before buying an Epson R1800/R800. Not that I want to
denigrate Epson, they make good printers, it's just that I don't see the
gulf - each OEM and printer has it's strengths.
