as the difference is such a physical thing (like polarization and fluorescence) I'm not sure there is a way to simulate it after the fact. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's impossible.
The best way to minimize the effect of dryback on measurements is to use a polarizing filter - keep in mind that the readings may not jibe with readings taken for standards work...
If you had a certain stock in hand and you compared wet/dry using both a polarized and non-polarized instrument then you could get an idea. But this is very stock dependent....
