Well I'd expect if chromaticities values for 5000K are provided in the
software, it's not ambiguous . But if not, where on the lines of correlated
color temperature does it fall in relationship to the blackbody curve?

I'm wondering when a software product tells us 5000K, is this indeed these
values and if so, we are we offered two options for the same target value?
Seems overly confusing.
