overall I agree with this. My editing training typically consists of "why you don't want to edit" and "how to avoid editing" which takes up a fairly big piece of it.
In most cases we finc color management fails due to some correctable problem. Finding and correcting the problem can be a challenge but it is usually time well spent as it pays off in the long term.
