Rick, this behavior is very strange: filling a *whole* layer with
option-delete *with no selection active* does produce *correct* values,
oddly enough. (In my experience the values remain correct whether the layer
if empty -- and floating -- or flattened.)
*But* if you draw *a selection* (on a layer that is either flat or floating,
empty or already full) and fill *that selection* with the color, then the
values are incorrect again.
Anyone else can confirm this?
