OK, after checking my references more carefully, the 0.01 tolerance is from
ISO-12646 and expressed in u'v'. Whereas the 0.025 tolerance is from
ISO-3664 and also expressed in u'v'. ISO-12646 was written for soft proofing
viewing with comparison to hard copy, but ISO-3664 was written for soft
proofing in isolation. In the end, there is nothing wrong with my monitor.
But, being a perfectionnist, as you know me, I'm always looking for that
extra ounce of quality.
