Fascinating what spectral photography can do for reproduction. One day,
soon, I hope, we'll all have access to these kinds of tools for use with our
current equipment.
I suspect it'll be a while before Roy's system becomes mainstream,
but it's interesting to note that there's now a commercial camera
that ships without IR filters, the Canon EOS 20Da. It's designed for
astrophotography, but it may well have a role to play as a test bed
for those who wish to experiment with filters in front of the lens.
